so, i started this assignment last week as soon as i got home from class. i had this fantastic image in my head that was very industrial and apocalyptic ect. i worked on it all week before finally coming to the realization that i was taking on way more than i am capable of at this stage. needless to say, it didn't work out and i scrapped it yesterday. keep it simple, stupid. i created these ufo's over the past two days using the lathe and loft techniques.
for this one, i lofted the main body (and added a bevel), fins, ray gun wires and the laser beams. i also added two shapes to the lofted beams. i lathed the ray gun. and even though i think i like the little blue ufo better, i definitely had more fun with this one.
